Our Commitments
GrowMore Recruitment pledges to:
- Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace as a matter of good practice and business sense.
- Create a work environment free from bullying, harassment, victimisation, and unlawful discrimination, where dignity and respect for all are upheld, and individual differences and contributions are recognised and valued.
- Provide training to managers and employees on their rights and responsibilities under this policy. This includes understanding that they, as well as the organisation, can be held accountable for acts of bullying, harassment, victimisation, and unlawful discrimination against colleagues, customers, suppliers, and the public.
- Treat complaints of bullying, harassment, victimisation, and unlawful discrimination seriously. Such acts will be addressed as misconduct under our grievance and disciplinary procedures, with severe cases potentially leading to dismissal without notice. Sexual harassment may also constitute both an employment issue and a criminal matter under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
- Ensure that training, development, and progression opportunities are accessible to all staff, encouraging them to reach their full potential and thereby maximising the organisation’s efficiency.
- Base all employment-related decisions on merit, except where exemptions and exceptions under the Equality Act apply.
- Regularly review employment practices and procedures to ensure fairness and update them as necessary to comply with changes in the law.
- Monitor the composition of our workforce in terms of age, sex, ethnic background, sexual orientation, religion or belief, and disability. This monitoring supports our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and helps us assess the effectiveness of our policy and action plans. We will review these annually and address any issues identified.
Continuous Improvement
At GrowMore Recruitment, we are committed to continuously evaluating and improving our practices to ensure they align with our values of equality, diversity, and inclusion. This ongoing commitment ensures that we remain responsive to the needs of our workforce and the communities we serve.
